Meet Marisa

Marisa’s work is rooted in presence, movement, and deep respect for the body’s natural intelligence. She supports people in reconnecting with themselves through intentional movement, nervous system awareness, time in nature, and personalized wellness guidance. Her approach is steady and relational. She meets people where they are and works alongside them as they build resilience, clarity, and a more grounded relationship with their body and life.
Marisa believes that healing is not about fixing what is broken, but about learning how to listen, respond, and care for ourselves with honesty and compassion. Her work creates space for people to feel more regulated, awake, and connected, both internally and with the world around them.
An accomplished swimmer, trail runner, paddle boarder, and outdoor adventurer, Marisa’s life is deeply shaped by movement and the natural environment. Much of her time is spent outside, exploring the Ozarks, running trails, camping with friends, and seeking out water in all its forms. She has worked for over eight years in environmental advocacy and conservation, and continues to hold a strong belief that caring for ourselves and caring for the Earth are deeply intertwined.
Marisa’s professional path began in the traditional Western medical system while earning her degree in Exercise and Movement Science. Over time, her work evolved into sports medicine, movement education, and coaching. She has worked as a certified Exercise Physiologist, personal trainer, swim coach, trauma-informed yoga and qigong instructor, and collegiate triathlon coach. These experiences shaped her understanding of how the body adapts, heals, and responds to stress, training, and life itself.
Alongside her clinical and movement-based background, Marisa has spent years engaged in inner work, self-inquiry, and integrative wellness practices. Through study, travel, mentorship, and lived experience, she has developed a grounded understanding of nervous system regulation, embodiment, and the subtle ways people move through change. Her work today reflects this integration, blending science, movement, mindfulness, and nature-based practices in a way that is practical, supportive, and deeply human.
Sacred medicine work, including Kambo, became part of Marisa’s path through a direct call toward Earth-based healing traditions. This work continues through her separate practice, Kambo Clarity, where it is held with care, preparation, and integration. Whether or not someone chooses to engage in ceremonial work, Marisa remains committed to supporting people through accessible practices that encourage awareness, self-trust, and long-term wellbeing.
At the heart of everything Marisa offers is a belief in steady growth, honest self-connection, and the healing power of presence, movement, and nature. Her work invites people to slow down, listen more closely, and build lives that feel supportive, resilient, and aligned.
