An ancient Amazonian medicine rooted in tradition and intention

Kambo is a natural medicine traditionally used by Indigenous tribes of the Amazon rainforest. It comes from the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog and has been used for generations as a way to support vitality, clarity, and overall well-being.

Rather than working against the body, Kambo supports the body’s own ability to release what feels heavy or out of balance. Many people experience it as a clearing process, both physically and emotionally, that helps create space for greater awareness, presence, and connection.

Marisa brings a grounded, compassionate approach rooted in deep training, lived experience, and intuitive awareness. Her work focuses on helping you gently recognize and shift the patterns and habits that shape your life, using Kambo as a supportive catalyst for meaningful change.

Today, Kambo is often explored by those who feel ready for a deeper reset or a renewed relationship with their body. When approached with care, intention, and respect for its roots, Kambo can be a supportive practice for reflection, release, and gentle transformation.

A supportive practice for those seeking clarity, release, and reconnection

Kambo is often explored by people who feel called to deeper self-awareness and meaningful change. While each experience is unique, many people are drawn to Kambo during moments of transition, healing, or reflection.

Kambo may be supportive for those who are seeking clarity around:

  • Feeling stuck or disconnected in life

  • Releasing emotional heaviness or mental fog

  • Reigniting inspiration and motivation

  • Processing grief or loss

  • Exploring and healing long-standing patterns or habits

  • Navigating major life changes or transitions

  • Cultivating greater self-awareness and perspective

  • Letting go of attachments or beliefs that no longer serve them

  • Strengthening trust in their own intuition

  • Feeling calmer, lighter, and more grounded in daily life

In Amazonian traditions, Kambo is used to help clear Panema, a term describing a state of stagnation, low energy, or disconnection that can affect emotional, mental, and energetic well-being.

Many people approach Kambo not as a cure, but as a tool for personal insight, release, and reconnection with the body’s natural intelligence.

A guided, intentional space for release and reflection

A Kambo ceremony is a carefully held experience designed to support the body and mind through a process of release, clarity, and reconnection. It is not rushed and it is never approached casually. Each ceremony is grounded in respect for the medicine, the individual, and the process unfolding.

Before the ceremony begins, time is taken to slow down, check in, and set intentions. This helps create a sense of safety and purpose, allowing you to arrive fully present in your body. The ceremony itself is guided with care, attentiveness, and clear communication throughout.

Kambo ceremonies are often physically intense for a short period of time, followed by a deep sense of calm, clarity, or emotional release. Everyone’s experience is different, and there is no “right” way for it to unfold. What matters most is that you are supported, listened to, and held with compassion during the process.

Marisa facilitates each ceremony with a grounded, steady presence, drawing on her training, experience, and intuitive awareness. She prioritizes safety, clear boundaries, and emotional support, creating a space where you can meet your experience honestly and without pressure.

A Kambo ceremony is not about forcing change. It is about creating the conditions for the body and nervous system to reset, allowing insight and healing to emerge naturally.

Energy Work

Energy is eternally flowing within, around and between all of us. It can deeply shape how we interpret our experiences. With the intuitive use of tools such as sage, palo santo, music, sound healing instruments and mindful reiki techniques, space is created for internal stagnant energy to move and external energy frequencies to be cleansed or called in.
